Essential Qualification and Experience : M. Tech + 13 years relevant experience or Ph.D.+ 8 years relevant experience. 

Desirable Experience : Expertise in office automation project management and should have skill to coordinate all activities related to software development cycle. Good technical experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle/Ingres Forms, report and 4GLs is must. At least 10 years of real time experience and expertise should be in Oracle/ Ingres database administration, database administration, database design and migration, backup, recovery, performance Tuning of database and applications. Should have experience in web server (Apache-Tomcat) Administration and web based application implementation. Candidate should have experience in software Design, Development, Coding, Testing, Deployment, end user training and Enhancements/Maintenance for academic institutions. Having complementary knowledge in the field of HP-Unix, Solaris, and Linux System Administration.
