Selection Process:

• The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and same does not automatically make candidates eligible for Interview.
• Based on bio-data, initial screening based on a cut off marks (to be decided later) will be conducted to short-listed candidates for Interview. The short listed candidates will be intimated to attend the Interview to be held at ISRO Headquarters, Bangalore.
• Candidates attending the Interview will be reimbursed to and fro second class train fare by the shortest route from the address given in the application to the place of Interview.

Pay & Allowances

• Selected personnel will be appointed as Technical Assistant (Electrical) in the Pay Band Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4600/-. In addition, you will be given DA, HRA & Transport Allowance. The rate of HRA and transport allowance would vary in other cities as per Government provisions. The employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme. How to apply :

• The detailed advertisement is hosted in the ISRO website at www.isro.gov.in. The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria may visit ISRO web site between 08-06-2012 and 22-06-2012.
• There will be an Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) for each application. Demand Draft details need to be filled-in at the time of on-line registration. The candidate before filing his application has to take a DD for Rs.100/- from any of the Nationalized Bank in favour of the Senior Accounts Officer, ISRO HQ., Bangalore payable at Bangalore.
• Please note that applications, in respect of which DDs have not been received with Name as mentioned in the application and Registration Number on the reverse, will not be considered.
• Scheduled Castes (SC) Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and women candidates are exempted from Application fee.
• However SC/ST and PWD candidates will have to send attested Caste Certificate issued by Competent Authority and Certificate of Medical Board. In respect of women candidates a Gender certificate issued by the Principal of the College or attested copy of PAN card/Voter's ID/College ID/Passport/Driving License/Ration card is to be sent to Sr. Admn Officer (GA) duly indicating the Name, Post No. and Reg. No. on the reverse within 7 days of filling the application by the candidate and in any case not later than 30-06-2012 to avail application fee exemption.
• No Objection Certificate in respect of candidates employed under Central/State Govt./Central/State Govt. PSU/Central/State Govt. Autonomous body should reach Senior Administrative Office(GA),CEPO Headquarters, Bangalore within 7 days of filling the application by the candidate and in any case not later than 30-06-2012.
