Job Requirements: IIT Kharagpur invites applications from Indian Nationals for following posts on contract basis to fill the backlog reserved vacancies for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBCs):
1. Name Of Posts: Junior Technician
• No. of Vacancy:- 11 posts (SC – 3, ST – 7 and OBCs – 1)
• Pay Band : Rs 5,200/- to Rs 20,200/- + Grade Pay of Rs 2,000/-
• Qualification : Candidates with Bachelor Degree in any one of the following streams Bio Science / Geology & Geophysics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Physics from a recognized University. Or Candidates with Diploma in Engineering in concerned trade.
2. Name Of Posts: Junior Assistant
• No. of Vacancy:- 05 posts (SC – 3, ST – 1 and OBCs – 1)
• Pay Band : Rs 5,200/- to Rs 20,200/- + Grade Pay of Rs 2,000/-
• Qualification : Candidates with Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University & should have typing skills with 40 words per minute.
3. Name Of Posts: Junior Lab Assistant
• No. of Vacancy:- 08 Posts (SC – 3, ST – 5)
• Pay Band : Rs 5,200/- to Rs 20,200/- + Grade Pay of Rs 2,000/-
• Qualification : Candidates with Bachelor Degree in any one of the following streams Bio Science / Geology & Geophysics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Physics from a recognized University. Or Candidates with Diploma in Engineering in concerned trade.
