Job Details:Visva-Bharati Sriniketan ,inviting application for the post of Guest Lecturer in Social Work
Pay Scale: Rs. 250 per hour subject to maximum of Rs. 10000/ (ten thousand) per month
Essential Qualification: Post-graduate in Social Work with at least 55 percent marks or equivalent in the relevant subject from an Indian University or equivalent foreign university.
NET qualification is essential. However, the candidates having Ph.D degree awarded before June 2009 are exempted from NET. Relaxation of 5 % of marks may be provided at the master’s degree level for SC/ST category. PhD degree holders who have been awarded the degree by June 2009 and who have passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September 1991 are also eligible for 5% relaxation marks in PG. Candidates besides fulfilling the above qualifications should have cleared the eligibility test for lecturers by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Desirable: The candidate should have (had) been engaged in teaching and supervision of students in field work at UG/PG level, research work and have publications in relevant subjects.
