However, there is a relaxation of 5% marks i.e from 55% to 50% at Master’s Degree level for the ST/SC candidates and relaxation of 5% (55% to 50%) for the Physically Handicapped candidates.Essential Qualification : NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors in Universities/Colleges/Institutions?
